One platform. Describe it, build it, own it.
Nx·Studio designs the digital workers that run your business. Nx IDE is there when you want to build or extend the software around them. The Cognitive Engine learns routine decisions and makes them without AI.
Three products. One foundation.
Nx·Studio is the flagship, Nx IDE helps you build faster, and the Cognitive Engine makes routine decisions without AI — with the Foundation under all three. What you build stays yours: workers come to you as code you own, and Nx IDE works on your own code.
Nx·Studio
Describe a business process. An AI business analyst designs digital workers for it, you test them on realistic data, then download all the code.
- Up to five designs from one description
- Tested on sample data made for each worker
- All the code — no Nexgile service needed to run it
Nx IDE
An AI engineering team inside your code editor. It plans, writes, tests and reviews code — with the AI model you choose, and only with your approval.
- 31 built-in specialists
- Approvals on by default, every step reversible
- 26 AI providers, or AI on your own computers
Cognitive Engine
It learns routine decisions from outcomes you confirm, then makes them itself without AI — but only after passing an exam.
- Learns only from confirmed outcomes
- Acts only after a zero-mistake exam
- Not sure? It hands the case to a person
The Foundation
The principles every digital worker is built on: tested before it's trusted, rules that run as rules, blueprints you can read, and code you own.
- Rules that don't use AI
- Readable blueprints, every version saved
- A security review and a list of what's inside, with every download
Describe → Generate → Test → Own
Describe the work and get digital workers you own. Every step leaves something you can check.
Start from a plain-language description.
Describe how a part of your company works — a paragraph is enough. Or answer the ten-step guided form, start from a starter pack, or upload documents to help pull out your rules.
Before anything is generated, the studio shows which rules, roles and approval limits it understood — and scores how complete the picture is.
Up to five designs, checked before you see them.
An AI business analyst designs up to five different digital workers for your process, from cautious to cost-saving. Each design is checked against 73 rules and fixed where possible. To connect to your other systems, it can draw on a built-in catalog of thousands of business systems, or on your own documentation.
Every design is a readable flowchart of AI steps, rules and approval points, before a single run.
Tested on realistic data before going live.
Each worker gets realistic sample data made just for it — or you can use your own files. Run it in the studio and see every step, every approval and the cost of each AI step. Compare versions and try alternatives side by side.
Test runs use the same engine you download, so what you test is what you get.
Download the code. Run it without us.
When it's ready, download all of its code and run it on your own systems, with your own AI account. Nothing to rent, no per-decision fees, no connection back to us.
What's in a downloadEvery download includes a security risk assessment and a signed list of everything inside it.
The Nexgile difference.
AI models can be swapped out. What's built around them is what counts. Four principles are built into every Nexgile digital worker — each one something you can see, test or run yourself.
Proven on realistic data before go-live.
Every worker gets its own realistic sample data — or you can load your own spreadsheets. Run it in the studio and see every step, every approval and the cost of each AI step. Save test cases, compare versions side by side, and try alternatives before anything touches a live system.
- Sample data for every worker
- A step-by-step record of every run
- Versions compared before you ship
Your policy isn't a suggestion to an AI.
Write a rule in plain English, such as “refunds over $10,000 need the finance director's approval”. It becomes a real step in the worker — not a line hidden in an AI prompt. Rule steps don't use AI at all, so the same facts always get the same answer. AI handles only the steps that need judgment, and the worker stops wherever a person must decide.
- Rules that don't use AI
- Approvals built in
- Risky steps without approval get flagged
Your auditors read it before it runs.
Every digital worker is a flowchart you can read — not a tangle of AI instructions. It shows the AI steps, the rules, the connections to other systems and where people approve. A business view shows who does what. Every change is saved as a new version you can compare, and a health check runs before anything is downloaded.
- A readable flowchart
- Every version kept
- Health check before download
Take the source code home.
When a worker is ready, you download all of its code — including the engine it runs on. Your team runs it on your own systems with your own AI account. There's no license key, nothing to rent and no connection back to us. Every download also includes a security risk assessment and a signed list of every AI model, software library and dataset inside.
- All the code
- Runs on your own systems
- A list of what's inside
Approval steps are built into the worker. When it reaches one, it stops and waits for a person to decide. And if a worker could change or delete data without an approval first, the studio warns you before you download it.
AI that earns the right to decide.
Most business decisions are routine. The Cognitive Engine learns those routine decisions from outcomes your business confirms — and makes them itself, without AI, but only after proving it gets them right.
See the engine work a shift- 01 Learns from confirmed outcomes An AI tutor may suggest answers; only outcomes your business confirms count as lessons.
- 02 Passes an exam before it acts It must get at least 400 new cases right, with no mistakes, before a decision goes live.
- 03 Decides without AI Learned decisions take a fraction of a second. Anything unproven goes to a person.
A blueprint your auditors can read.
Every digital worker is a flowchart of its AI steps, roles, connections, approvals and rules — not instructions hidden in AI prompts. Every change is saved as a new version you can compare with any other.
- Intake: refund requests from email and chat
- Check: order history, payment record, prior refunds
- −Approval: refunds route to one reviewer
- Rule: refunds over the limit go to a person
- Intake: refund requests from email and chat

- +Approval: refunds above $10,000 need finance-director sign-off

Illustrative. One document serves three groups: engineers compare versions like code, the business sees who does what, and your auditors can review it before anything runs.
Whichever seat you're in.
Spend less time on tasks and more on results.
-
Outcomes, not infrastructure
Describe the work in plain language and get digital workers designed around your business, with the code to run them.
-
See it work first
Watch workers run on realistic sample data, with every step and cost in view, before a real system is touched.
-
Own what you run
All the code, run on your own systems — no per-decision fees.
-
Built for regulated work
Rules that run as rules, approvals designed in and readable blueprints, for industries with the strictest rules.
An AI engineering team that works the way you do.
-
An agent in your editor
Nx IDE plans, builds, tests and reviews — 31 built-in specialists, coordinated end to end.
-
Any model, your choice
26 AI providers, including AI that runs on your own computers. No lock-in.
-
Control you can defend
Approvals on by default, rules for what's allowed, protected files, restore points and spending limits.
-
Workers as real code
Digital workers are flowcharts that download as real code you can read, test and extend.
Read what a worker will do before it does it.
-
Approvals you can see
Every approval step, rule and hand-off to a person is visible in the flowchart before anything runs.
-
A record of every run
Every test run is recorded step by step: what went in, what came out, who approved and where AI was used. Downloaded workers can also keep a sealed log that shows if anyone changes it later.
-
Know what's inside
Every download comes with a signed list of everything inside and a security risk assessment.
-
Evaluate without your real data
Workers can be tested on generated sample data, so an evaluation doesn't have to start with your real records.
Your AI bill shouldn't be a surprise.
Metered platforms bill you every time your worker thinks. Ours doesn't meter at all: you download the code and run it yourself.
Inside the worker, rule steps don't use AI at all. Only the steps that need judgment use an AI model, on your own account and at your provider's rates. The studio estimates what each action will cost before you go live.
Our business model is the proof. We charge to design your workforce, not to run it. A vendor with a meter earns more the more you depend on it. We want you independent — ongoing help is optional, on your terms.
Rule steps
Fixed business rules inside the worker — no AI involved.
AI steps
Only where judgment is needed — billed by your provider, on your account, with a cost estimate per action.
Running the workers
Your own systems or cloud — nothing to rent and no Nexgile meter.
Twelve questions to ask any digital-workforce vendor — including us.
Take this list into every evaluation. We wrote it because we're comfortable answering all twelve.
Can your auditors read what the worker will do before it runs — or only watch dashboards after?
If you cancel, what keeps working?
Can you take all of the code with you — every line?
Is there a per-decision meter, and what happens to your bill when volume doubles?
Which decisions run as fixed rules, and which call an AI model?
Can a cleverly worded message talk the worker out of a rule?
Is what you test the same code you run?
Can you test the worker on realistic work before connecting a live system?
Does evaluation require sharing your real data?
Who approves what — and is approval a step in the design, or a setting?
Can your own engineers read every line of what you deliver?
Does every number in the pitch come with how it was measured?
Our answers are on this page.
What the words mean.
Four terms we use throughout this site, and exactly what we mean by them:
Digital worker
Software that handles one piece of work from start to finish, with AI steps, rules, connections and approvals. You download it and run it yourself.
Blueprint
A worker's readable flowchart, with every version saved: what it does and who approves what, reviewable before it runs.
Export
Downloading a finished worker: all of its code, the engine it runs on, a security risk assessment and a signed list of what's inside.
What's in a downloadVerified decision layer
The Cognitive Engine: it learns a routine decision from confirmed outcomes, and makes it without AI once it passes an exam.
